On the other hand, if you’re trying to learn how to fly in specific scenarios for commercial drone operations, spending more on a professional simulator might make sense because it’s a business investment. If you’re just trying to get your feet wet, you don’t need to invest in an expensive simulator. Price really comes down to how robust you want your drone simulator to be. All of these simulators can be used by people who are just interested in flying for fun (i.e., recreational drone pilots). Drone simulators basically fall into two categories-simulators for learning how to fly drones commercially and simulators for learning how to fly FPV drones for drone racing. It’s important to note that different simulators will help you learn different types of flying.
Customizations can include the option to change the drone simulation environment as well as to change the type of drone being used in the drone simulator. Some drone flight simulators allow you to customize them for specific flying scenarios, so you can prepare for the exact situations you might face in your drone pilot work.
It’s important to look at the specs for the simulator you’re considering before making a purchase, so you can make sure it will work on your device.

I don't think it would take too much time or money to develop and bring to the market since most of the work is already done. Maybe take it a step further and add a wireless receiver or PPM/S-bus port so we can use our normal radios and FPV goggles with the simulator. Another thing Fat Shark or ImmersionRC can consider making is a small set top box for the computer which takes in HDMI, VGA, or DVI from the monitor and transmits the signal in a format that our video goggles can receive. If they can improve the graphics, I would be thinking about buying it. It's almost like they rushed to get the product to market and had to keep the graphics low. Liftoff does look like a decent simulator but the graphics aren't the best. I believe this is gameplay footage of Liftoff.
